FreenBecky Media · · 3 min read
Congratulations to Freen Sarocha, named among the Top 20 Thai Women Bringing Thailand to the Eyes of the World — Thai Women Global Soft Power 2026. Freen ranks at No.17, recognised for her impact across Thai GL (Girls’ Love), Asian pop culture and global fashion.
The list celebrates the women projecting Thailand’s cultural influence onto the global stage, and Freen’s inclusion reflects a career that has done exactly that. Since her breakout, she has carried Thai storytelling from Bangkok to Paris and beyond — and the full scale of that reach is documented on the Global Highlights page, from her media-value rankings to her record-setting fashion moments.
Who is Freen Sarocha?
Freen rose to fame as the “Queen of GL,” starring in GAP: The Series — Thailand’s first mainstream Girls’ Love drama, which surpassed 800 million views on YouTube and made her an international name. Beyond the screen she became the first Thai actress to attend the Met Gala, in custom Valentino, and a fixture of Paris Fashion Week front rows. Actress, model, singer and entrepreneur — she now runs her own company, Solenn Entertainment, and ranks among Southeast Asia’s most influential entertainers.
Her latest work
Freen’s current slate shows exactly the range that earned her the recognition. She stars in the 2026 horror film The Stain (ราคี) — her first horror role, which recently topped TrueVisions NOW’s Top 10 Movies — and leads the fantasy series The Witch of Siam, now filming. Earlier in the year she reunited with Becky Armstrong for The Air, part of the record-setting 4 Elements anthology — a run whose success is broken down in our feature on how 4 Elements became one of Thai GL’s biggest hits.
No.17 — Freen Sarocha, recognised for Thai GL, Asian pop culture & global fashion.
