Valentino “Specula Mundi” Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Show

On Wednesday 28 January 2026, during Paris Couture Week, Freen Sarocha attended Maison Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture show at the Tennis Club de Paris as a brand ambassador. It came just days after Valentino Garavani passed away on 19 January, and creative director Alessandro Michele dedicated the collection to him.

Michele called it “Specula Mundi,” Latin for “mirror of the world.” Instead of a runway, guests peered through the windows of wooden viewing drums modeled on the 19th-century Kaiserpanorama, an early cinema device, as models posed inside in looks drawn from old Hollywood glamour, from feathered headdresses to gold lamé gowns.
