Sarocha at MIKIMOTO SG Opening

MIKIMOTO, the Japanese house that created the world’s first cultured pearls, opened its second Singapore boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre on Orchard Road in January 2026, joining its longtime store at Marina Bay Sands. Freen Sarocha was a special guest at the opening on Thursday 22 January, alongside the brand’s global ambassador, and fans trended SAROCHA AT MIKIMOTO SG OPENING with #MIKIMOTOSGxFreen.

She wore an elegant black Rosie dress with MIKIMOTO’s aqua pearl necklace, earrings and rings. GRAZIA Singapore, L’Officiel, Tatler and Vogue Singapore all covered her appearance, with interviews and quick-fire “This or That” segments in which she shared her favorite pieces.

At 1,943 square feet, the new boutique is more than double the size of the Marina Bay Sands store, designed around the calm of the waters where MIKIMOTO’s pearls grow. It showcases the house’s modern lines, from Bow Charm and V Code to Lucky Arrows and Les Pétales Place Vendôme, alongside classic pearls and museum-style vitrines of high jewelry.
