Paris Fashion Week 2024 — Valentino ‘Pavillon des Folies’ show

Alessandro Michele’s debut for Valentino was one of the most anticipated shows of Paris Fashion Week. On Sunday 29 September 2024, he presented “Pavillon des Folies,” named after the ornamental follies of 18th- and 19th-century gardens, built only to please the eye. Freen Sarocha was among the guests, and met Michele at the show.

Hours before the 3 PM show, fan hashtags like #PavillonDesFoliesxFREEN were trending worldwide on X and Instagram, and the crowd outside the venue on Avenue de la Porte de Châtillon gave her one of the loudest receptions of the afternoon. Inside, US press including ELLE caught her in a front row alongside Harry Styles, Florence Welch, Jared Leto and Elton John.

The numbers followed. As reported by Forbes, Freen generated $5.9 million in Media Impact Value from the show, the fourth-highest of any celebrity there, a milestone fashion trade press tied to Southeast Asia’s growing pull in luxury. In January 2025, Maison Valentino named Freen a brand ambassador, its first Thai female ambassador, citing her appearance at the show; WWD and GRAZIA Singapore covered the news.
