The day
What happened
FunDom FanDay, presented by Sonix Youth 1999, ran over the weekend of 2–3 July 2022 in the M Event Hall on the G floor of The Mall Lifestore Thapra. The organizers sold it as “4 fandoms, 4 rounds, 4 pairs, 4 seasons”: four separate shows across two days, each built around a season of the year and a different set of on-screen partners, with talk, games and songs.
Round 2, on Saturday at 17:00, was First Light in Winter, the round given to the cast of Secret Crush On You — which is where the hashtag #FundomFanDayxIDF comes from. Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong shared the 90-minute show, which the official listing described as bringing some warmth to the middle of the city with a story set in winter, adding a teasing “(really?)” for a Bangkok July.

Why it matters
Billed by name, before GAP
In July 2022 GAP: The Series had been filming for twelve days and nobody had seen a frame of it. What the audience at Thapra knew was Secret Crush On You, where the two had supporting roles. Even so, the ticket listing put them on the bill as a pair under their own names. They had been in Manila for the Pinoy BL Festival the weekend before; four weeks later came the first GAP fan sign. This is the home date in between, and the start of the run of Bangkok appearances that carried them to the premiere.
