The day
What happened
On Sunday 31 July 2022 the cast of GAP: The Series held their first fan sign at Mirinn Club in Bangkok. “GAP Yuri” was the name the project went by in its early promotion — yuri being the Japanese term for girls’ love — and the event ran under the hashtag #GAPyuri1stFansign.
Filming had started only about six weeks earlier, on 20 June, so nobody in the room had seen a single episode yet. The afternoon opened with a song from the cast, moved into the signing itself, where Freen and Becky met fans one by one as Sam and Mon’s actresses for the first time, and closed with thank-you messages from the stage.

Where it all started
Every fan meeting, world tour stop and sold-out birthday concert in the events archive traces back to this one. It is the earliest GAP fan event in the archive, and it happened before the series had aired a minute of footage beyond its teasers. Four days later they were guests at the Lin Tid Pro Fair; by November the series was on national television.
