HOKA Clifton 9 Launch: “Enter Running Bliss”

What happened

HOKA Thailand launched the Clifton 9 running shoe with “four days, four activities” on Square A, the plaza in front of CentralWorld, from 16 to 19 February 2023, under the concept “Enter Running Bliss.” Day one belonged to runners and sneaker writers. Day two, Friday 17 February, belonged to Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong, billed in the brand’s own release as the GL pairing from the hit series GAP: The Series.

1. 12–16 FebruaryFans build up spending at HOKA stores. The 300 shoppers who reach at least 6,000 baht, including a pair of Clifton 9s, win a place inside the “HOKA Track” zone closest to the stage.
2. Friday 17 February, 17:00–19:00Freen and Becky take the stage at the HOKA Clifton 9 Hub Space for the evening’s activities, with the 300 inside the track and a crowd on the plaza around it.
3. Top spendersThe ten highest spenders get VIP seats, a signed polaroid taken with the two of them on stage, and an exclusive dinner with Freen and Becky at a later date.

Fans who were there also remember that Becky was not feeling well that evening, and that Freen stayed close to her through the event and looked after her. It is one of the moments fans point to when they describe the two of them: each takes care of the other, on stage and off, and always has.
