The BoF 500 is not a popularity list. The Business of Fashion — the London and New York trade publication that the industry itself reads — compiles it each year from nominations and its own reporting, and entry is by editorial decision: designers, executives, models, editors, and the small number of entertainers whose presence measurably moves the business. Members stay on the index; new classes are announced each autumn and celebrated at a gala during Paris Fashion Week. The 2025 gala, on 4 October, is where Freen and Becky were welcomed as new members — the evening is logged, with the trending numbers, on Global Highlights.
Two things stand out in how BoF listed them. First, they were entered together — one profile, two names — which is how the industry sees them and how the site treats them: as FreenBecky. Second, the citation is built from the fashion record, not the screen one: Tokyo, Valentino, Chanel, the covers. BoF was recognizing what the houses had already decided over the previous eighteen months, and putting it on the record for everyone else.

Why it matters
The BoF 500 is the credential the others now reference. Tatler cited it when it named Becky a Gen.T Leader of Tomorrow; Tod's press for her 2026 ambassadorship leaned on it; and it is the line that turns "popular in Thailand" into "influential in fashion" for a brand manager in New York or Paris who has never seen a Thai series. For media agencies, it is the single most portable fact on the site.
It also closed a year. The gala fell on the same Paris weekend as the Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 show Becky attended as House Ambassador and the Valentino show where Freen's posts generated $8 million in MIV — so the two were named to the index in the same week their houses were proving why. Then in December both were named Harper's Bazaar Thailand Women of the Year. The BoF 500 sits in the middle of that run as the industry's own verdict on it — and on the pair's list of firsts, as the year both halves of FreenBecky entered the index together.
