TGC billed the pair as special guests for its 20th-anniversary show, noting it was their first time at the event and that they walked the main runway in Tokyo. The Business of Fashion later cited the appearance in their BoF 500 profile as their international runway debut — walking for Darich, and the first Thai actresses to do so at the Japanese event.

Tokyo Girls Collection is Japan's largest fashion festival: a stadium show, held twice a year since 2005, that mixes runway with live music and draws tens of thousands of young women to see the country's biggest models, actresses and idols walk. The 40th edition, on 1 March 2025, was also TGC's 20th anniversary, staged under the theme "HERE WE GO!" and the idea of co-creation — and it was the edition where TGC announced it would expand into Southeast Asia, with shows planned for Jakarta, Hanoi and Bangkok.
That is the context for the invitation. TGC wanted Southeast Asian names on its anniversary runway, and it chose Freen and Becky — together, as a pair. They walked for the Japanese label Darich and were introduced as special guests. No GL couple had been invited to TGC before, and no Thai actress had walked its runway; they did both in one afternoon, in front of a Japanese audience that largely knew them from Gap and The Loyal Pin on streaming.

Japan

It also set up the year. Within weeks Becky was named a Chanel house ambassador and Freen went on to the Met Gala and the Valentino ambassadorship — 2025 is the year the pair moved from being invited to fashion to being part of it, and Tokyo was the first date on that calendar.
