A month into GAP’s run, KAZZ Magazine took Freen, Becky and a group of fans out of Bangkok to plant mangroves on the Samut Prakan coast, then sat everyone down to dinner together.

The day
What happened
คนดีอาสาทำดี — roughly “good people volunteer to do good” — is KAZZ Magazine’s long-running charity series, in which the magazine takes actors and a group of their fans out for a day of volunteer work. Earlier editions built a tree bank in Phetchaburi and raised money for elephants in Chonburi. On Sunday 18 December 2022 the guests were Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong, and the job was planting mangroves in Samut Prakan, the coastal province just south of Bangkok.
KAZZ sold the day as a package and billed it as an exclusive trip with the two actresses:
- The trip outFans traveled with the KAZZ team to the planting site in Samut Prakan; two meals were included.
- Mangrove plantingFreen, Becky and the fans planted mangrove saplings together.
- Meet and greetAn evening session with the two of them, held over dinner.

Why it matters
The first date that wasn’t about the show
Up to this point every entry in the archive promotes something: a series, a store, a product. This one promotes nothing. It is the first charity date in this archive, a month after GAP: The Series began airing, and it started a relationship with KAZZ that is still running: a magazine cover that autumn, then KAZZ Awards wins in 2023 and 2024, and four at the KAZZ Awards 2026.
