The day

What happened

THHeadline and Q Power Entertainment announced the Hong Kong date in June 2023 with a line that fit the run: next station, Hong Kong. On Saturday 22 July Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong played Hall 11 at AsiaWorld-Expo on Lantau, the biggest capacity of any Fanboom night.

Ticketing ran through Damai, the mainland platform, and Hong Kong fans replied to the announcement to say they could not pay on it without a mainland payment method and asked the promoters to switch to a local seller.

Why it matters

The July leg

April closed the first half of the tour; July reopened it for two more dates, Hong Kong and then the Macau encore eight days later. Between them sits the Araneta Coliseum on 4 July, which makes that month the densest stretch of the year. The reach behind it is on the global highlights pages.
