The day

What happened

Fabulous Fanboom was Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong’s first fan meeting concert. It opened at Thunder Dome in Bangkok over 25 and 26 March 2023, and on Sunday 9 April it traveled for the first time, to the Broadway Theatre at Broadway Macau. All 2,500 seats sold. Fans trended the night under #FREENBECKYinMACAU, alongside #srchafreen and #beckysangels.

Macau was the first of a run of Fanboom dates across Asia that year, ending with an encore at this same theater in July.

  1. 25–26 March 2023 — BangkokThunder Dome, IMPACT. The first Fabulous Fanboom, around 3,500 seats, sold out.
  2. 9 April 2023 — MacauBroadway Theatre. The first Fanboom outside Thailand, 2,500 seats, sold out.
  3. 21 April 2023 — CebuWaterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. 4,000 seats, sold out in half an hour.
  4. 23 April 2023 — ManilaNew Frontier Theater. 2,380 seats, sold out in two minutes.
  5. 22 July 2023 — Hong KongAsiaWorld-Expo, Runway 11.
  6. 30 July 2023 — Macau, encoreBack at the Broadway Theatre to close the run.

Why it matters

The first date outside Thailand

Until April 2023 every stage they had played was in Thailand or a one-off abroad. Fanboom is where it became a touring show: six dates across four markets in four months, most of them sold out, the last one an encore back where the touring began. Everything the run generated is recorded on the global highlights pages, and what came of it is on the awards page.
