Freen and Becky at The Air Final Episode Event

The scenes that stayed with them

On stage, they talked about how their characters changed over the series and picked the moments that hit them hardest. For Freen, it was the final goodbye: Lom’s hurt ran so deep that she could barely get her lines out. Becky chose the hospital scene where Princess Blue writes a letter, which moved her while they were filming it.

“The eight weeks went by so fast. I really love this character, and I want everyone to love her too.”

Freen said she related to Lom and felt for her all the way through, and that saying goodbye was heartbreaking. Looking back on the run, she said she was surprised the ratings never dropped, and thanked fans for staying with the show from filming to the last episode.

A full house. The cinema was packed and many fans couldn’t get in. The producers apologized to them and said they would look for a bigger venue next time. The afternoon ended with a hi-bye with fans and group photos on stage.

Not quite goodbye. Both teased that Lom and Princess Blue would make short guest appearances in The Fire, the next 4 Elements series, which premiered a week later, on July 11. Freen also told reporters that her first solo concert, on her birthday, August 8, would be full of surprises.
