On Friday 30 August 2024, L’Oréal Paris Thailand held a gala at Gaysorn Amarin to celebrate Elseve Extraordinary Oil, which it bills as the world’s number one hair treatment serum, and its new formula that protects hair from heat, frizz and damage. Becky Armstrong was among the artists and actors the brand invited for the night.

The brand surprised guests by flying in its global haircare ambassador, Korean actress Han So-hee. L’Oréal Paris’s brand general manager said the aim was to make haircare feel more contemporary, and to inspire consumers to choose products that give smooth, beautiful hair.

The night was an early chapter in Becky’s story with L’Oréal Paris. The brand went on to name her a makeup ambassador and take her to the Cannes Film Festival in May 2025, where she was its top influencer by earned media value. She later walked its Le Défilé “You’re Worth It” runway show in Paris, and in 2026 became a global ambassador.
