IDF Girls’ Day 2025 — Japan

Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong traveled to Japan for IDF Girls’ Day 2025, a two-day fan event held around Hinamatsuri, Japan’s Girls’ Day on 3 March. Day 1 took place on Sunday 2 March 2025 at Saitama Prefecture’s Sonic City Grand Hall, with both a day show and a night show, and Day 2 followed on Monday 3 March at the Large Hall of the Osaka International Exchange Center. They shared the stage with fellow IDF couple FayMay.

Tickets ran through Pony Canyon, and fans who couldn’t travel could watch live on Rakuten TV in Japan or Hello Live overseas. Before the show, the pair sent a video of themselves building their own acrylic stands for fans, and fans trended #IDFGLDay2025xFreenBeckyD1 and #IDFGLDay2025xFreenBeckyD2 across the two days.

On Day 1, timelines lit up under #IDFGLDay2025xFreenBeckyD1 as fans shared what they saw in Saitama: high-definition photos and fancams of the pair’s stage looks, clips of the playful, chaotic game segments that quickly turned into memes, and the small, caring moments between Freen and Becky during the talk sets. Their live duets, sung to the crowd and to each other, became instant favorites, and by the end of the night fans were posting their hi-bye moments and thanking Japan for its warmth. Day 2 in Osaka closed the weekend the next evening.

It capped a busy weekend in Japan: the day before, on 1 March, Freen and Becky appeared at the 40th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 Spring/Summer.
