The day

What happened

Aromagicare is a health and wellness brand from WIDE International, known for its Therapy Oil in four variants: Classic, Strawberry, BMW and Coffee. In March 2023 it announced Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong as its first Thai brand ambassadors, following the Korean actress Park Eun-bin, whom it had signed before them. It was their first Filipino endorsement, and it came the day after their Fabulous Fan Boom fan meeting at the same theater.

On why the brand suited them, Freen said she likes essential oils for relaxation, and Becky said the Therapy Oil helped with the neck and back strain she got from studying. Becky said the Philippines feels like a second home; Freen said it was her third visit.

Why it matters

From a theater to the Big Dome

Ten weeks later the same brand put them in the Araneta Coliseum. The Aromagicare FreenBecky Grand Fanmeeting on 4 July 2023 was their biggest Philippine event to that point, and it grew directly out of this launch. The market that made both possible starts on the global highlights pages, and the endorsements that followed are on the awards page.
