Becky Armstrong was back on the DUO ONE live stage for Episode 7 on Thursday, October 29, 2026, as Chemistry Icon, the title she shares with Freen Sarocha. Her feedback was sharp and kind, she made the panel laugh, and one song brought back a GAP memory fans haven’t forgotten.

DUO ONE pairs up trainees and judges each duo on chemistry, vocals, dance and stage presence, with audience votes and the panel’s input deciding who moves on. Sitting with the panel this week, Becky gave every pair real notes on their singing and staging, but kept it warm, laughing along with her fellow panelists and the host between performances.

She also had to leave the studio before the end to catch a flight, and apologized to everyone before she went, a small moment fans loved.

Couple 1, and a GAP throwback

The first duo picked a song Becky knows well: she, Freen and the cast of GAP The Series once made a TikTok to it. The panel didn’t let it slide.

Fellow panelist: One more time, be sexy!

Becky: Enough, I’m embarrassed!

Then she turned to the pair:

“When I found out that you two had chosen this song, I immediately thought it was going to be challenging. I was wondering how you would manage to handle both the performance and the vocals smoothly. It’s a very powerful song, even for me. […] Still, your chemistry was really good. What I really liked was how connected you were throughout the entire performance. There was eye contact, you moved toward each other, and it never felt like two separate people performing on their own. Your chemistry was so obvious, and it was absolutely adorable.”

Couple 4: “like watching a musical”

Becky already knew both singers in the fourth duo were strong vocalists, and said this performance still surprised her. When a fellow panelist pointed out how they traded vocal turns back and forth, she agreed:

“It was so good. I mean, I already knew from the start that both of you are vocalists. You started off with powerful vocals and great voices. But today I’m like, wow. I was so surprised. […] It felt like we were watching a musical. There was communication in your singing, and I believe that’s what drew everyone in from start to finish. Great job.”

Couple 5: “the right pair”

For the fifth duo, Becky admitted the song’s very low first note had her worried at the start, until the second voice came in:

“I feel like your chemistry is incredibly well-matched. You really are the right pair. When you’re together, there’s this aura that shines through. […] Once [your partner] joined in, everything just clicked. You complemented and supported each other really well. It was a beautiful, smooth and balanced performance.”
