Freen Sarocha Says The Witch of Siam Is 80% Filmed and Airs Next Year

Freen Sarocha shared an update on The Witch of Siam on October 7, 2026: the series is about 80% filmed, should wrap by the end of the month, and will air next year.

She gave the update in Bangkok at IN2IT x Watsons Complete Your Match, the IN2IT Cosmetics brand event at Union Mall where she also sat down for a live Flex Talk interview on Flex 104.5.

“It will air next year.”

“We’ve already filmed quite a lot, around 80%. There are still a few things left to shoot, and we should wrap up filming by the end of this month. After that, we’ll move on to editing, CGI, and everything else. There’s definitely a lot to look forward to!”

What The Witch of Siam is about

Freen plays Irene, a witch on the run from witch-hunters who settles in Ayutthaya, not for safety but because she falls in love with the food. Her life changes when she treats a badly wounded man who turns out to be the notorious bandit of Ayutthaya, Mek, played by Nine Naphat. Fate pushes the witch and the bandit to fight side by side, forming a bond between their souls that outlasts the lifetime it was made in. Five hundred years later, Irene has lost her magic and is still waiting to meet him again.

The fantasy romance is adapted from Manousaya’s novel Nueng Chat Song Phop Maemot Haeng Siam (หนึ่งชาติสองภพ แม่มดแห่งสยาม), directed by Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod and produced by Nong Arunosha Panupan, and it is her first project with Nine Naphat.
