The day

Freen Sarocha opens Velvet Dream in Mexico City

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Freen Sarocha took the stage for Velvet Dream “Twilight,” the first of four nights on the tour. Mexico City was ready for her. Fans greeted her at the airport when she landed on November 2, and buses and trucks with her face on them drove around the city in the days before the show. How Mexico City welcomed her is in the news report, and this fan post shows the welcome too.

On stage. Freen sang for the crowd (fan clips of her singing), including her cover of “Thinking Out Loud” (fan video by @tok6utt), answered fans’ questions and joined in the games they had planned. She even spoke to the crowd in Spanish, caught in fan clips credited to their original posters. Then came hi-bye and photos with every fan. Before each photo, she asked fans wearing glasses to take them off, so the light wouldn’t reflect in their eyes.

Fighting a cold. Freen was fighting a cold that day. On her Instagram broadcast channel, she told fans in Latin America she had a sore throat and a runny nose, maybe from adjusting to the new bedtime, and asked them not to misunderstand if they saw her in a mask at the airport: “Aunt Freen is so happy to be here and I really want to see everyone. I will try to keep myself ready for all the shows until this tour is over.” So she kept a little distance during the photos, so fans wouldn’t get sick, and between the jet lag and the change of city, she saved her energy for the rest of the tour.

Mexico’s surprises. Fans had surprises of their own: a mariachi serenade of “México en la piel” and a recap video with a Día de Muertos theme, Escándala reported.

What she said

On Becky, The Air and The Witch of Siam

Working with Becky

In the Q&A, Freen talked about what it’s like to work with Becky Armstrong, her co-star in 4 Elements: The Air:

“It’s fun. I love working with Becky because we’ve known each other for a long time, around six to seven years, so we know what we like, what we don’t like, what we have to do and what we don’t have to do. We get along really well in the scenes; we know very well what we’re thinking. It’s always really fun because we feel really comfortable with each other, so that helps the work turn out much better.”

What she misses from The Air

Asked what she misses from filming The Air, called Saneha Wayo in Thai, she said:

“I don’t really feel like going to the beach, because we spent so much time filming there, so I haven’t been to the beach in a while. But if I had to pick one thing that I miss from Saneha Wayo, it’s the beach.”

Her role as Irene

She also talked about Irene, her character in The Witch of Siam:

“The Witch of Siam is actually a good person. She’s a very lovely witch, and in the story she actually lives in France. Then she ends up fleeing to Thailand, so she gets to see many different things and experience various aspects of Thai culture. She’s a very lovable character.”

Working with P’Engfa

Asked about P’Engfa, she said:

“She’s playful, a little bit sexy, and has this vibe of being such a good person. She’s just naturally like that, so I think people watching her might feel a little playful affection towards her. It was such a great experience getting to work with P’Engfa. Everyone, especially the more experienced cast members, is so talented, so I really had a lot of fun. I’m extremely happy and grateful to be part of such a grand project.”
