Becky Armstrong wins Outstanding Asian Star at Seoul Drama Awards 2026

The Seoul International Drama Awards is one of Asia’s most established television awards, and 2026 was its biggest year yet: a record 352 drama entries from 46 countries and regions. Alongside its juried categories, the festival names an Outstanding Asian Star for each of six territories, decided by fans.

Becky Armstrong won for Thailand for her lead role as Nanno in Netflix’s Girl From Nowhere: The Reset, the reboot that put a new face on one of Thai television’s most famous characters. She received the award at the 21st Seoul International Drama Awards ceremony at KBS Hall in Seoul on October 8, 2026. More in the news: Becky named Outstanding Asian Star.

It’s the second international award for the same role. Nanno had already earned Becky Rising Star of the Year at the 2026 Global OTT Awards, a juried prize; the Seoul award adds a fan-voted one, so critics and audiences have now both recognized the performance.

Because it’s decided by votes, it’s also a measure of her fanbase’s reach outside Thailand, the same reach tracked in her global highlights.
