Becky Armstrong’s cover of Billie Eilish’s Wildflower, released in February 2025 — weeks before the song became a global single.
Wildflower is a folk-pop song by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell from the 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft. Becky Armstrong released her cover on 21 February 2025, two weeks after her pre-single Pantone.
Her version is soft and unhurried, suited to a song about loyalty and guilt after a friend’s breakup. The original went on to win Song of the Year at the 68th Grammy Awards.
Becky’s other English-language covers include A Whole New World and Why Don’t You Stay, and she performed Growing Out of You live with Jamie Miller. Her full catalog is on Becky’s music career.
Released 21 February 2025.
