DUO ONE Episode 6 Recap: Freen Sarocha at the 100M Song Stage
Freen Sarocha was back on the DUO ONE live stage for Episode 6, the 100M Song Stage, on Thursday, October 22, 2026, as the episode’s commentator and Chemistry Icon. Last week it was Becky Armstrong’s turn; this week Freen gave the trainees her feedback, her encouragement and one very honest answer about heartbreak.

When the host pointed out that Becky had been there last week and asked Freen if she had anything to say to the contestants, Freen said she had watched the replay of their last performances:
“Last week, I got to watch the replay of everyone’s performances, and I could really see how much everyone has grown, as well as all the different chemistry between the contestants. This round brings a whole new chemistry too. I’m cheering for every single one of you. I hope you have fun with today’s performances and that they turn out even better than we expected. Most importantly, just enjoy yourselves, okay? I’ll always be rooting for you all.”

Her feedback for Couple 1
Freen opened by saying one of the singers in the first duo had sung better than ever. He was one of the trainees she had been most worried about vocally, and standing next to his partner again, she could see how much he had grown since the first weeks. She agreed with her fellow panelist that the pair leaned too hard on the choreography, waiting for each cue (“my hand goes up, now it goes down, now you sing”) instead of finding the groove. She loved the ad-libs and called the harmonies really well done, and said the nerves in the first verse showed but they recovered well. Her advice: add a little more naturalness and flow, and it would be a perfect show. Full translation by @bbkhongphii.

For the second duo, Freen admitted her notes were very short, and her fellow panelist caught her on it:
“I didn’t write anything down. I only wrote, ‘Cute performance, it felt like watching a musical.’ That’s it. […] The chemistry was so cute. […] I really liked that they didn’t just come out and start singing right away. They had a little acting segment first, almost like a mini play. […] I really understood the story of the performance, and it drew us into their world from the very beginning all the way to the end. That’s why I’d love to see another performance from this pair again.”

The heartbreak question
The host also teased Freen during the episode:
Host: Speaking of heartbreak, Freen, if you were heartbroken, how would you express your emotions while singing?
Freen: (laughs)
Fellow panelist: I know what she’d do.
Freen: What would Freen do?
Fellow panelist: She’d eat!
Freen: (laughing) Exactly! Why be sad?
